Dr. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc.

Dr. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. is a graduate from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor from Ouachita Baptist University. He has an extensive experience in business and government services. He was the President, CEO, and Chairman of Indosat. Dr. Parapak served as a Secretary General of the Department of Tourism, Post, Telecommunication; a member of the National Council of Research. Joining UPH in 2001, he was then appointed as the President and Rector of UPH in 2006.
Prof. Dr. Adrianus Mooy, M.Sc
Senior Advisor
Prof. Mooy obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin (USA), and M.Sc. in Economics (Money and Banking) from the same University. He received his B.Sc. in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta (Indonesia). He has an extensive experience in many different areas including education as Lecturer mostly at the Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, where he obtained his full professorship in economics. He was also a member of People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and a member of Government Committees responsible for the drafting of the Guidelines of State Policy (GBHN). He helped the Government in several capacities: as Deputy Chairman of National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS) responsible for the formulation of a Five Years Development Plans (REPELITA) particularly on macro-economic planning as well as fiscal, monetary, and balance of payments planning. He also served as Governor of Bank Indonesia (the Central Bank of Indonesia) and as Indonesian Ambassador to the European Union based in Brussels, Belgium. On the international front, he served the United Nations as Under-Secretary-General / Executive Secretary of UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP) based in Bangkok, Thailand. Prof. Mooy joined UPH in 2007 as Senior Advisor until today. He was also the Rector of UPH Surabaya until 2018.
Firman Rusli, MEng, PMP, CPC
Vice President of University Services
Firman Rusli graduated from his bachelor’s degree of Manufacturing and Engineering Management with Honor and continued his master’s degree in Information Technology at the reputable university of RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology).
Immediately after graduation, he worked for 3 years in Australia before finally decided to come back to Indonesia and had served in a leadership and strategic roles with a couple of consulting firms, such as Jatis Solutions, NTT Group, Microsoft, and Lippo Education Group.
His extensive experience for more than 20 years come from leading operations for Technology, Business Development, and Applications/Infrastructures Development within a wide range of industries with full P&L responsibility, combining in-depth technical knowledge with refined business acumen and management skills.
Eric Jobiliong,
Ph.D.
Vice President of Academics, Research, & Innovation
Eric Jobiliong, Ph.D. earned his bachelor's and master's degree in Physics from the Universitas Indonesia, doctoral degree in Physics from Florida State University. He also received a postdoctoral scholarship at Georgetown University (USA) in 2006. Apart from serving as Associate Provost, he is also the Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology, and he has also served as the executive director of the Center for Community Research and Development (LPPM) since 2013 and became chairman of the LPPM in 2017.

Dr. (Cand.) Hendra Thamrindinata, S.Si., M.Div. , M.A. (Th.) bergabung di UPH pada 11 Januari 2010 sebagai dosen Fakultas Liberal Arts (FLA), mengajarkan Wawasan Dunia Kristen. Ia memperoleh gelar Sarjana dalam Fisika dari Universitas Negeri Hasanuddin di Makassar, gelar Master of Divinity dari Reformed Theological Seminary of Jakarta (STTRI), dan gelar Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies dari Evangelishche Theologische Faculteit (ETF) di Leuven, Belgium. Sejak tahun 2019, ia menjadi kandidat ETF PhD in the History of the 17th century Reformed Scholastic Theology di Belanda, memfokuskan riset pada Theology of Gisbertus Voetius. Beberapa pengalamannya mencakup guru SMA, dosen universitas, Kepala Program Studi dan Dekan Eksekutif FLA, juga melatih anggota Fakultas UPH dalam Integrasi pembelajaran iman dalam tradisi Neo Calvisime.
Dr. (Cand.) Andry Panjaitan,

Dr. (Cand.) Andry M. Panjaitan, S.T., M.T., CPHCM joined UPH in 2002. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Universitas Atmajaya Yogyakarta and Master of Engineering from Universitas Pelita Harapan. He also has several certifications from Fusion -Australia, Haggai Institute – Singapore, and Lembaga Ketahanan Nasional – Indonesia. He also has experiences as a speaker and trainer in various government and private institution. His specialties include Leadership & Character Development, Industrial Psychology, and Integrated Quality Management.
Daniel C. Augustinus, SS., MM.Par., Ph.D (Cand.)., CHCSA.
Dean of UPH Medan Campus
Daniel Cassa Augustinus joined UPH Medan in 2016 serving as a lecturer in Hospitality Management program. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in English from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Master of Tourism Administration from Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bandung, and are currently a Ph.D. candiddate in Tourism Marketing from Graduate School of Business at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He obtained a professional lecturer certification from the Minister of Education in Indonesia and Professional Certification in Human Capital Strategy Associate.
Dr. Alfonsius, S.E., M.SI.
Chair of Management Study Program
Alfonsius joined Universitas Pelita Harapan Medan Campus in 2019. Prior to that, he served at STIE Professional Manajemen College Indonesia as a Lecturer and also Vice Chairman I. He also had ever served as a Lecturer in the Postgraduate Program at Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. He obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics majoring in Management Study Program. Then he continued the Masters Program in the Management Science Study Program at the Postgraduate School of the University of Sumatera Utara. He took his Doctoral education in the Regional Planning Doctoral Program at the Postgraduate School of the University of Sumatera Utara. Alfonsius has spent more than 10 years in the education industry and he has obtained his Professional Lecturer Certification from the Minister of Education in Indonesia.

Prof. Dr. Jur. Udin Silalahi, S.H., LL.M. is a Lecturer of Law Study Program. He teaches Business Competition Law; Bankruptcy Law; Regional Government Law courses. He earned his Bachelor of Law from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogjakarta, Master of Law from Friedrich Alexander University Germany, and doctoral degree in Law from Friedrich Alexander University Germany.
Okky Putra Barus, S.Kom., M.M., M.T.I.
Chair of Information System
Okky Barus is an IT practitioner who has more than 10 years of experience in accelerating company performances through the implementation of technology. He is equipped with multidisciplinary knowledge and earned two Master’s degrees, Master in Management from Universitas Sumatera Utara and Master of Information Technology from Bina Nusantara University. He believes that “learning is never done” as he continues to improve himself and has obtained various international certifications: Certified in IT Service Management from Quint Wellington Redwood (USA), Certified International Project Management Professional from PASAS Institute (Singapore), Digital Marketing Certified, and Adobe Certified. Currently, Okky serves as the Department Chair of the Information System and Informatics programs at UPH. He is also involved in teaching, conducting government-funded researches, and writing books. He is extremely passionate in developing the younger generation. Together with students, he initiates several movements, guides students to collaborate with the industry, and encourages them to achieve various achievements in both the academic and non-academic fields. Giving back to the community has always had a place in Okky’s heart. He is a public speaker, mentor, and judge in various events held by Google, Gojek, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), and many others. He designed an HRIS mobile application which has been implemented in corporations and he has also obtained intellectual property rights to it. One of his recent achievements is winning Indonesia Teacher Prize 2020 presented by Ruangguru.
Ferawaty, S.Kom., M.Kom.

Ferawaty was born in Medan. She is an alumna of Master of Engineering students at the University of North Sumatera. She has been actively teaching since 2007. She has been devoting not only herself in the education field but also her knowledge to the society. Besides that, she has also produced books and research grants in computer study. At this moment she serves the Pelita Harapan University as Chair of Informatics Study Program. She has vision and mission to produce young generations that are not only able in Informatics field but also fear in God.
Danny Philipe Bukidz, S.ST, M.Min, M.Si
Coordinator Faculty of Liberal Arts and Spiritual Growth
Danny Philipe Bukidz joined UPH Medan Campus in year 2016 to participate and teaching. Prior to that, he served at The Intervarsity Fellowship Students (PERKANTAS) at North Sumatera as Full Timer Worker. He also had ever served at Coordinator for Ministry High School Students for north Sumatera. He received his Diplomas IV degree of Industrial and Management Engineering (concentrate in Information System) from the College of Industrial Management (STMI) and completed his Master of Ministry from the College of Theology, Cipanas (STT Cipanas). He completed his Master of Science at Sociology of Religion from University Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW). He also has authored several articles from Local Newspaper and book for study bible. Danny Bukidz has spent more than 13 years in the spiritual ministry for Student. He has pioneered student services in several schools in Medan and pioneered the service of several campuses in Jakarta and Medan.
